The neck is an optional one piece roasted Flame Maple unit, topped with a Rosewood fingerboard. The shape of the neck and the contoured heel where the neck meets the body, allows for very good access to the 26th fret. The side dots are Luminlay dot markers which aid position visibility when playing in darkened settings.

Pickups:

The 3 x pickups are Delano SBC 4 HE/S. The pickups are configured as Neck, Front bridge and Rear bridge pickups, The bridge pickups can be switched both, front or rear. The rear bridge pickup is in 70's Jazz position which adds extra bite to the tone. The Delano pickups were chosen for their superb punch, growl, clarity and balanced output across the strings.

Preamp:

We chose a John East Uni-Pre 5 Preamp for this bass. The bass already sounds great in passive mode, but if required, the number of tonal options that can be had with this preamp is huge. The parametric mid range sweep allows you to pin point those frequencies that allow you to cut through the mix, in any setting.

Strings:

We chose D'addario ProSteels for their ability to enhance the punch and growl of a Bass, particularly in the low end. Other strings available on request.
